We’re the Kertz Family and we have bees! Cory (husband) grew up working on a small farm in Southeast Missouri. After getting his degrees in Agriculture and Chemistry a non-linear career path has landed him working in software development, looking to maintain balance in his life he picked up an outdoor hobby, beekeeping!

Established in 2021, our apiary has steadily grown alongside our supportive community. Our approach to beekeeping is simple. Our honey is never heated or filtered, and each batch remains distinct. We prioritize sustainability in every decision we make. We offer our honey exclusively in reusable jars offering a credit for their return. Residents in the New Town, Charlestowne, and Fox Hill communities can get our honey delivered to their door via a biked “paper boy” route, keeping the total hive to home distance to less than 2 miles.

We’re always looking to connect to our community! If you are looking for wax to make soaps, comb for charcuterie boards, or honey to top baked goods contact us to make great things together.
